Turn Your Phone Back Into a Tool and Get Your Attention Back
You pick up your phone without deciding to. You open an app and look up twenty minutes later with no memory of what you saw. You know you're distracted — you can feel it in how hard it is to read a book, sit in silence, or finish a task without checking something. You've tried willpower. Willpower keeps losing to apps built by teams of engineers whose job is to make sure it loses.
What you get
Part 1 — The Audit
Part 2 — The Redesign
Part 3 — Deep Work Environment
Part 4 — Sustain It
Is this for you?
The Compulsive Checker
You pick up your phone reflexively — at red lights, mid-conversation, the second there's a pause — and barely notice you're doing it.
The Doomscroller
You open one app 'for a minute' and resurface 30 minutes later, often feeling worse than before you started.
The Distracted High-Achiever
You're ambitious and capable, but you can feel your attention span shrinking — and it's starting to affect the quality of your work and your relationships.

Sample Exercise: The Digital Audit (The Brutal Truth)
You cannot fix what you refuse to measure. Before any redesign, this exercise has you open your phone's built-in Screen Time or Digital Wellbeing settings and write down the real numbers from the last 7 days — no estimating, no rounding down.
Your exercise
Open your phone's Screen Time (iOS) or Digital Wellbeing (Android) settings and record: your average daily screen time, your total pickups per day, and your top 3 most-used apps with their time. Then calculate: if your daily screen time is X hours, that equals Y days a year looking at a screen. Finally, answer — which app makes you feel worst after using it for 30 minutes, and if you reclaimed 1 hour a day, what would you do with those 365 hours a year?
The full workbook has structured worksheets like this across every section — plus trackers, frameworks, and monthly review templates.
